CAAS Launches New Website
CAAS launches a completely redesigned and reconceived website
On July 17, 2006, CAAS launched a completely redesigned and reconceived website (http://www.caas.org) to better serve the needs of medical transportation service providers. The new site is organized to help agencies understand the overall benefits of CAAS accreditation as well as to answer specific questions about the accreditation process.
A variety of new features, includes:
CAAS Help Center: To answer questions about the CAAS accreditation process, the new site offers a Frequently Asked Question section. A new Ask CAAS online question submission process has also been added to speed the resolution of agency- or standards-specific questions.
CAAS-accredited Agencies Map: A new Google-powered map shows the locations of all of the 102 currently accredited CAAS agencies across North America. Click on an agencies marker and you will see more details about the agency.
CAAS Spotlight: This new program highlights the achievements of a specific CAAS-accredited agency. This week we are featuring Acadian Ambulance Service which first earned accreditation in 1995.
Events Calendar: CAAS maintains a calendar of events for upcoming CAAS seminars, as well as National and Regional EMS events. This week we are featuring our next CAAS Seminar, October 3, 2006, Orlando, Florida.
In addition to the features list above, the new site is capable of serving up both audio and video content, including a new series of Podcasts planned for the Fall. Furthermore, a Members-Only section will debut in September, providing CAAS-accredited Agencies an area to collaborate and share information.
