CAAS Accredits Nine Agencies in December 2007Two ambulance agencies gained CAAS three-year accreditation from the CAAS Panel of Commissioners during its December 10, 2007, meeting. They are Stamford EMS, Stamford, Connecticut and Pro Medica, Sylvania, Ohio. The panel also took action and granted three-year reaccreditation to the following seven agencies, including; East Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Mobile Life Support, Newburgh, New York; Hall Ambulance, Bakersfield, California; Tri-Hospital, Port Huron, Michigan; Loveland/Symmes Fire Department, Loveland, Ohio; LifeNet, Inc., Texarkana, Texas; and Rockford Ambulance, Rockford, Michigan. The CAAS-accredited agencies appear on the newly designed CAAS web site Google map at www.caas.org. A new site design also allows you to ask and receive answers to frequently asked questions about accreditation, view in-depth profiles of CAAS-accredited agencies, and register for CAAS seminars and events online.
